I was born and raised in the Napa Valley and moved to North Idaho in the early 90’s to attend Eastern Washington University on an athletic scholarship. It was here that I found the loves of my life: My wife, Amy, Photography, and Rugby.
Amy and I live in Post Falls with our two sons, who keep us very busy and very well entertained. I co-founded North Idaho Men’s Rugby Club in 1997, and continue to be an active member.
Since age 10 i have always had a camera in my hand. On vacations i was always the one with the family camera shooting anything i could. I had always loved photography, capturing a memory on paper is amazing. I discovered digital photography with a little help from my mother-in-law Susan. I was the only other technology savvy person in the family, and she needed some help figuring things out from time to time. She has a love of photography in nature, her favorite subject being the humming bird. She gave me my first camera, a hand-me-down, and I was off. My first experience with a professional camera was photographing the migrating Bald Eagles at Higgins Point on Lake Coeur d’Alene, I have since grown into photographing families, landscapes, and now my new passion architecture.
In 2007 I was hired on to Discovery Land Company's Gozzer Ranch and became their corporate photographer. I had the opportunity of a life time to travel around the world and photograph private golf clubs which included, families, events, golf courses, and beautiful architecture.
